It was a lot of fun to hear Mark talk about what it’s like being a cosmonaut, and about his vision for how free software can impact the developing world. Cheers to the awesome people at the Legion of Tech for putting together the event, and for providing the opportunity to talk with Mark in person.
PS: This was my first video interview, and I’m keen for feedback — what can I do better next time?
“How are you changing the world?”
It’s an easy question to ask, and a hard question to answer. Luckily, I have the easy job!
I’m looking for a broad spectrum of artists, entertainers, bloggers, politicians, pundits, geeks, freaks, entrepreneurs and everyday people — anyone who wants to share what they’re doing to change the world.
The video interviews start next week, and the first one is a doozy: Mark Shuttleworth, the South African entrepreneur and cosmonaut. I’m super excited. Stay tuned.
I’m looking for leads on interesting people living in (or visiting) Portland — send an e-mail to change@peat.org if there’s someone you’d like to see interviewed, and I’ll get on it!
